Everything you need to know about our brake systems
A Big Brake Kit (BBK) is an upgrade that replaces your vehicle's stock braking system with larger, more powerful components. This includes larger brake rotors, multi-piston calipers, and high-performance brake pads. You need one if you want improved stopping power, better heat dissipation, reduced brake fade during spirited driving or track use, and enhanced overall braking performance. It's essential for high-performance vehicles, track day enthusiasts, and anyone who values maximum safety and control.
We manufacture custom brake kits designed specifically for your vehicle. Each kit is engineered to fit your car's specifications including hub bore, bolt pattern, and caliper clearance. We support vehicles from Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Mercedes, Nissan, Porsche, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Toyota, Volkswagen, and many more. If you don't see your vehicle listed, use our "Can't Find Your Car?" form and we'll design a custom solution for you.
The minimum wheel size depends on the rotor diameter of the brake kit. As a general guide: 330mm rotors typically require 17" wheels minimum, 355mm rotors need 18" wheels, and 380mm+ rotors usually require 19" or larger wheels. We provide detailed fitment information for each kit, including minimum wheel specifications and clearance diagrams. Contact us if you're unsure about compatibility with your current wheels.
Yes! We ship worldwide from our facility in Greece. We deliver to all European countries, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, Middle East, and many other destinations. Shipping times vary by location: EU countries typically receive orders within 3-7 business days, while international shipments take 7-14 business days. All shipments include tracking and are fully insured. Contact us for a shipping quote to your location.
If you have mechanical experience and proper tools, many of our kits can be installed at home. Each kit comes with detailed installation instructions. However, for safety reasons, we recommend professional installation, especially if you're not experienced with brake systems. Proper brake installation is critical for your safety. After installation, always perform a proper brake bedding procedure and have the system inspected by a qualified technician.
2-piece rotors feature a separate aluminum hat (center) bolted to the iron friction ring. Benefits include: significantly reduced weight (up to 40% lighter than 1-piece), better heat dissipation, the ability to replace just the rotor ring when worn, and floating design that prevents warping. 1-piece rotors are cast as a single unit and are more affordable but heavier. For performance and track use, we highly recommend 2-piece floating rotors.
We offer professional Cerakote ceramic coating in a wide range of colors including USMC Red, Graphite Black, Gold, NRA Blue, Parakeet Green, Hunter Orange, Satin Aluminum, Burnt Bronze, and many more. Cerakote provides superior heat resistance, corrosion protection, and a stunning finish that lasts. Custom colors are available upon request - contact us with your preferred color and we'll make it happen.
Yes, all HyperBrake products come with a comprehensive warranty. Our brake calipers and brackets carry a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Brake rotors are warranted for 1 year under normal use conditions. Brake pads and wear items are covered for 6 months. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, racing accidents, or normal wear. We stand behind our products and are committed to customer satisfaction.
